Laugh/Cry

The jester wakes with a frown
But smiles for the one with the crown
He makes him laugh, while he hides the tears
They will never know for a million years
The greatest jester will never laugh
He refuses to speak on his heart's behalf
In the night, there's no more Jester
All he is, is a great lament-err
He prays at night, in hopes the laughs will stop
But he keeps his heart close, so it won't drop
Why do you laugh at me, when I make sad jokes
Don't you know my life, is just a hoax?
